 Distinctive Concrete Finishes, Inc., is now a certified installer of several different epoxy garage coating systems. We offer four different types of epoxy floors so that our clients can select the options that best suit their needs and tastes. We start by applying a tinted base coat / primer followed by your choice of multi-colored vinyl chips, ceramic coated quarts crystals, or crushed recycled glass. We than apply one or more coats of an epoxy sealer. The number of coats of sealer depends upon the desired smoothness or anti-slip protection of the finished floor. We typically recommend a slightly rougher surface where water is present. Additional coats of sealer will produce a clean glossy appearance. Our epoxy floor coatings provide long-term protection, are easy to clean, automotive fluid resistant and economical. It has excellent stain and wear resistance and has extremely low V.O.C.'s. This translates in to no harsh chemical odor while curing occurs and there is zero chance of combustion or fire.
